Brookside Pups

​​​Applicants must be dedicated and passionate about providing the best care for our puppies and puppy parents.

Duties include:

​

• Puppy Care: cleaning kennels, feeding, nail and sanitary trims, and keeping our puppies socialized, happy, and healthy

• Customer Education: educate potential puppy parents to help them find the right puppy for their family and lifestyle: energy, grooming, training, size, personality etc.

• Paperwork: prepare and file documents and contracts, review contracts, medical records, and health guarantees with new puppy parents

• Open and Close store: maintain a clean and welcoming store

• Sales: sales transactions, assist with financing applications, process financing loans

Requirements:

​

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Reliable transportation

• Professional experience in dog\puppy care. (experience working in: pet store, boarding kennel, grooming salon, breeder, doggy daycare, dog training, etc)

• Basic computer skills

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Weekend availability required. Must be available for full shifts: Sun-Wed 10a-5p, Thu-Sat 9a-7p

Ideal applicants will be professional and friendly, with good communication skills, willing to learn, and attention to detail​.

We are looking to hire 1-2 team members for the following locations: Hazleton, and Wilkes Barre. Applicants with availability to work in multiple locations appreciated.

Hourly pay based on experience plus opportunities for bonus pay.
